The Captain is instrumental in delivering to guests a customer knowledge at the Master Liveaboards Fleet requirements. To make this happen, he or she integrates vessel functions, staff administration security and customer support. The Captain reports into the Local Operations Manager.
Accounts for every aspect for the vessel navigation including plotting routes, navigation, maneuvers, etc.;
Is uncompromising from the security regarding the vessel, staff and people;
Is in charge of the vessels administration including every aspect of vessel documents and interface authorities conformity;
Manages disaster security programs and recommend revisions/improvements and keeps them updated;
Manages the motorboat team to make sure they function according to the Master Liveaboards Fleet operational criteria;
Means that our friends are supplied with an outstanding consumer knowledge;
Liaises using the Engineering team in connection with use, upkeep and repair works for the vessel and its equipment.
ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
Just applicants with the following skills, competencies and knowledge would be considered:
STWC II/3 or maybe more official certification;
Great command of French and English;
Powerful leadership and folks abilities;
Problem resolving attitude;
Capacity to adapt quickly to fast transforming problems and environment;
Excellent watercraft maneuvering skills to safely steer in challenging passes and currents;
Minimum 10 years yachting knowledge;
one year doing work in a multicultural environment.
